Think ghosts are real or are they illusions generated by our own mental anguish or illness?

They're real.  I've experienced them several times, as have completely stable people I know.  I actually live in a haunted house.  And Crystal Dolphin is right: check out the Ghost Hunters!

ghosts aren't real but they are story's which the fear is it main idea it used to be told to children from their parents or from the people who had  the religion power like the saints to  make the people afraid from something which they don't want them to know about it  now adays they use the ghosts just in  the  movies

The human soul is a very REAL thing. Albeit intangible. Therefore a ghost, or a displaced spirit or soul is also very real.

There is no way to MAKE a person believe that this is true even in the face of compelling evidence.

Could be both. There might be ghosts I haven't seen any but others say they have. However, some of the sightings could be associated with mental illnesses.

Can you explain why numerous people can describe the same appirition in a place?  They can't all be having the same schizophrenic hallucination, can they?

I believe in the spirit plane yes, and I also believe there are some earthbound spirits, which we call ghosts.  Have had too many experiences, shared with others, to think I'm alone and/or crazy in what I've witnessed.

Try watching the sci-fi documentary "Ghots Hunters" and "Ghost Hunters International", and when they catch some evidence that they are unable to debunk or disprove (which they try real hard to do), you figure out how else to explain it.
