Question

I intend on getting her microchipped, just incase, i'm going to get that done at the same time i get her spayed i think.

We're going to use the vet clinic we use for our dog, they are pretty good so that's sorted too :)

Sounds good, all you add is love! And maybe a companion cat if she's going to be alone a lot!

Make sure you get a tag for the collar, in case she runs away. Put all of her information on it. Get a cat food, or you might want to wait to get that, and some moist cat treats. Moist, or tartar control.

Give her only a couple treats a day.

Also, with or without a collar, consider getting your new kitten microchipped just in case she ever gets lost (which will hopefully be never!) Unlike a collar/ID tag, a microchip cannot be lost/removed. :)

i dont like collars. they tend to hurt themselves trying to get out of them. brake aways are better, but they soon learn to break away all the time.

kittens love to pay, hard. i would tie string to door k***s, put down paper bags and cardboard boxes, make tents out of furniture and blankets, leave closet doors open.

and, i would consider getting two kittens. siblings that like each other are best. it is easier for two kittens to amuse each other then for you to amuse one. and they will sleep together and comfort each other when scared.

of course, they will also form a pack and work together to knock things over, but, that is what cats do.

a harness is better than a collar and train him/her inside first to be able to walk on a leash.   just remember NEVER EVER let your cat outside to roam on it's own.  it won't survive long.
