    Sqaure root of a minus number

    And of course infinite

    if 1/3=0.3

    and 1/6=0.6

    then shouldn't 1/9=0.9 ?????

  3. Here is one - it is called Cantor's diagonal slash:

    Try to imagine an infinitely long series of numbers. It would contain every number there is.

    Yet Cantor proved that you can always construct a number that is not in the series. For an image illustrating this idea - click on the link in sources.

    Take a figure from each column and each row of the series and add one to it. The result is a number which cannot be included in the series, as it is a result of a transformation of every number in the series!
