Think this is a good Subwoofer Purchase?

Question

I am getting two MTX thunder 5500 subwoofers, in the new box advertised as "the loudest box in its class" and I am getting them for $350. They were on sale, originally $500 but I dont know, jsut wondering if anybody can tell me if they are worth it. Thanks.

i had a thunder 6000 12" one time. for about five minutes then i blew it apart with a directed 250d. go memphis if you want a great sub

Well, if money isn't an issue, I would get them, without a doubt.

It's worth it in my opinion.
