  1. a small snake is 3-4 feet long there are no snakes that stay less than a foot

garter snakes ribbon snakes and rough/smooth green snakes all stay under 3 feet but i would seriously research them before getting one as they can have some behavior quirks u need to know about such as there tendence to escape and the way they need to be handled(due to there small size u need to be gental but they tend to try and eat anything that isnt stone cold and moves so some people have had to have them removed from there fingers)

  2. Banana snakes are awesome. Smaller thin snakes. Can't really bite you, beautiful colors, great little snakes.

  3. corn snakes are fantastic pets--very easy keepers well suited for beginners and experts alike. they come in a huge variety of color morphs and patterns. they remain relatively small as they reach 4-6 feet, tops. they're docile and easily handled and feed readily.

get a few books-- I recommend Don Soderberg's Cornsnakes in Captivity, specifically. do some research but be warned, the hobby is potentially addictive. Don Soderberg also runs South Mountain Reptiles and is an excellent breeder.

if you want something smaller, then try looking up different types of garter snake.

  4. i dont think that there is such thing as a foot long adult snake corn snakes can go from 4 foot - 6 foot probally even larger.if i was you i would get a corn snake there probally the smallest you'll see in a pet shop good luck!

  5. your demands can not be met snakes grow to at least 2 feet. sand boas, rubber boas and rosy boas are the shortest and nicest snakes around and the best for your demands.

  6. i dont think there is a snake that only grow to a foot long, kenyan sand boas grow to around 2 foot long and this is the smallest that i know of

  7. geez thanks i have 5 ball pythons. and i have a beautiful pastel female and a gorgeous spider male!

there are kenyan snad boas that get to about 2 feet. other than that a corn snake is obviously your best choice because ball pythons are ugly!

  8. That's really ignorant to call them ugly just because they are brown/black, some ball pythons are white like pied ball pythons, get a grip seriously, what do you want it just to make you popular, jeez.

Snakes that stay that short are very hard to care for I don't feel comfortable naming some stuff because you'd probably treat them cruel.

I'm done answering this because you don't truely care about reptiles you just want one that looks awesome you don't care about IT.
