Thinking about buying a home that needs some fixing up, don't know how to get the money for it.

Question

I'm looking at house that i need to put twenty thousand into. It is prices 15 thousand under the amount i was approved for. so can i just take the whole amount and apply it to the things that need fixed. If not or if so is there any other way to get a loan or a grant. I just cannot afford all of it out of pocket...

You might be eligable for an FHA loan which can covercost of repair.  Contact 1-800-CALL-FHA or www.fha.gov

FHA works only for primary residence thou.
