Thinking about going in the army

Question

I been really thinking and I right now I feel my college comes first. Once I get my associate in graphic design. I want to go in the army. Before I sign on I want to know only 3 things. Well I find adventure, self-confident and romance? Can the army do that for me?

No the army will not find you any of that. The army will find you without a job because they contract out all of their work now. so that takes adventure out of the question. you may be over  where the action is at but you will not actually be doing anything. (watch the movie iraq for sale and all of the people in it are army except one marine who got sick off of what the armys private contractors did. self confidence is not from the army. that is once again the marines, and romance i would be careful with in any branch ececially if you are a female cause it is the military and alot of us military men arent worried about long romances. so marines got two outta three army has zero and well i hope no matter what path you choose the best of luck especially with the romancing.

if you are going to college first you may as well go to ROTC so u can get payed while still in college and enter as an officer when you get out

Sure you will get to travel to far away lands and meet new interesting people and kill them.

Adventure - you bet.  Travel to exotic sunny places.

Self confidence - you'll have to learn to rely on certain skills to stay alive so yes.

Romance - not a good place to be but hey two out of three ain't bad!

adventure-yes my dad traveled to germany spain and italy.

self confidences-defiantly youll learn how to fight,shoot a rifle and all the others depending on mos plus or in the military your a badass.

romance-my dad meet my mom in the military in germany.

plus if you dont find it women love a man in uniform

so basically yes for everything

youll never regret it

Adventure definetly! You will also be a more self confident motivated individual. Romance wise im not sure i do know it is hard to have a realtionship while in the military but it can still work.
