  1. You could be the helper.  The one who does all the small jobs that no one thinks are important.  The cleaning, sterilising, pulling the kitchen roll apart, setting up, cleaning the waiting area, assisting the actual tattoo artists. Or reception.  Booking people in, ensuring that the artists know exactly what they are doing for the next appointment.  Dealing with customers, both new and regular.  Making cups of tea and coffee.  Learning how to do the hectographing, increasing and decreasing tattoo design pictures. There is quite a lot to do to be perfectly truthful. I do it all and am constantly told that without me the studio wouldn't run.  But to me its not that important.  The artists are the most important.

Ask at your local studio and offer your services.  Mind though most expect you to do it for free!!

    Good Luck

  2. YOu could write for a tattoo magazine.

  3. most shops employ a counter person..does paper work, answers phones, basically an admisitrative assistant type gig. selling jewelry, if they do piercings, and i'm betting employees get discounts too!

  4. Piercing or the gofor

  5. SURE, skin healing... at the hospital.

  6. designer probably

  7. Gabrio are you retarded?

You could design tattoos for people, and have an artist actually do it.

You could write for a tattoo magazine.

There's a lot you can do, I wouldn't really know enough to make a long list for you, but search around, maybe go to a tattoo shop and ask them?

  8. How About a Cashier or a Loan Officer?

  9. i don't really know but my guess is that there is something you could do as far as advertising and management.

  10. Generally assistants aren't necessary; even a busy studio can function with one piercer, one tattooist and an apprentice a few days a week. On top of the piercer and tattooists wages (apprentices usually don't get paid) most studios can't spare the cash to employ someone else

Unless you want to learn to tattoo there's going to be very few opportunities in the industry for you

If you want to be designing them then go into illustration, you won't make a living limiting yourself to only tattoos
