Has anyone ever been to krakov, is the alcohol cheap? Is it nice scenery? Is it cheap to stay there?

How long should we go for?

  1. krakow is a very beautifully city to see i'm polish and i been there there is a lot to see so make sure you got some time to see everything

  2. Krakow it's good choice. it's inexpensive. there are many interesting places to see( historic buildings and monuments, you can find here something for your soul and also for your body - some places to stay, to eat, to have fun - it doesn't cost much and the quality of the products and services is very good)

alcohol here is cheap and what more important it's also good. if you want to see real Krakow you should come for more that just weekend.

  3. I've been there, but it's a really long time ago, about 12 years or so.

Poland has some real beautiful buildings, quite impressive. The country is poor, that's why lately many people from Poland work over the borders. Alcohol is cheap, and it is cheap to stay. The scenery depends on where you go.

I think you should find out more on the internet. Go to http://www.lonelyplanet.com  It gives some good information about how much money you will need, and other things. While you are at the lonely plenet site,  check out also the 'thorn tree forum', it will help you on a lot of up-to-date information. Google for pictures, and for other travel info.

You might also think about going to the Czech Republic, or the Slovakian Republic. Also cheap, and beautiful nature.

Anyway, you will get more helpful answers from Polish people  themselves here. :)
