  1. and s'mores ......  Put a piece of Hershey's chocolate bar on a graham cracker, top with a roasted marshmellow and another graham cracker

  2. All you need is 4 equal lengh pieces of firewood and a bbq grill grate.  Step them up over the hot coals and grill right over the fire.

A frozen lassagna and bag salad with ready made garlic bread the food will cook while you get your party on.

Baked potatoes.  Wash the spuds, poke holes in them with a knife, wrap them in foil and set them in the fire.  Serve them right out of the fire. Set up a buffet like potato topping bar with sour cream, baccon, chives, shredded cheddar, butter, chilli, etc,  and let your friends pick their faves!  Bonus...this choice is pretty cheap too!

  3. instead of doing the same old hot dogs on a stick and smores why not try something new

    B-L-T Bites Recipe

    Ingredients:

    16 cherry tomatoes

1 pound bacon -- cooked and crumbled

    1/2 cup mayonnaise

    1/3 cup chopped green onions

    3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

    2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley

Cut a thin slice off the top of each tomato top. Scoop out and discard pulp. Invert the tomatoes on a paper towel to drain.

In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; mix well. Spoon into tomatoes. Refrigerate for several hours.

    Capri Salad

    Ingredients:

1 Chunk (cube) of fresh mozzarella

    basil leaves

    1 Cherry tomato

    1 Caper

    olive oil

    oregano

Wrap a cube of mozzarella with a basil leaf (or part of a leaf) on three sides. Skewer through two of the leaf covered sides with a toothpick. Add tomato and caper to toothpick Sprinkle with olive oil and a small amount of oregano. Repeat as needed for quantity desired.

Limit the amount of olive oil, or shift the hor d'oeuvers to a fresh plate after adding the olive oil. You don't want the hor d'oeuvers to drip when they are picked up by your guest. Fresh mozzarella is the key. This is not the hard America mozzarella. It should have been made in the last week at most. Some grocers sell it stale and tasteless. An Italian grocer or deli is a good bet for getting fresh mozzarella.

  7. Grilling is in my friend. Take a banana and slice it down the middle lengthwise. Fill with any combination of marshmallows, chocolate chips, nuts, caramel or add in your own fav things. Also, all you need is a flat surface like a rock to make a pizza or quesadillas. Have fun!
