Thinking about someone else during s*x, does this happen to you?

How often? What are your thoughts on it?

This has never happened between myself and my husband, and I hope it never does.

I would consider this to be a reflection on the fact that our relationship was going sour.  It either would mean that we were no longer attracted to one another, or that possibly we were bored with our s*x life?  When I'm having s*x with my husband, he's all I can think about -- I'm very consumed in the act of making love to him.  That's all I have to say about it.

I do sometimes and I know my man does as well. Sometimes I'll ask him and he'll tell me what/who he's thinking about and I go with it. It makes him less stressed to know that I know and am ok with it. I don't see anything wrong with it at all.

i think it is impossible to not think about other people in a sexual way it is normal as long as you dont act on it their is nothing wrong with it

I would hate to think that he was thinking about someone else. It just makes you feel bad. Like what the h**l do I not look good enough for you to bone or something? You should only be having s*x with people that you want to, not having s*x with someone to pretend its someone else.

Of course, it happens to everyone...unless your George Bush. After you **** someone so many times it gets too predictable and you'll always see someone else that is more attractive and fantasize about them. It's no where near wrong if that's what you're asking, everybody does it. There are more than just two people on the earth so it's kind of out of your control who you think about.

I think many people would be hurt if they knew their partner was thinking about someone else during intercourse.

Intercourse means different things to different people. For some, it is only a means of pleasure, for me, it is that and a special connection with my partner.  The joy of a monogamous relationship is that you can both lean on eachother physically, mentally and emotionally, and no other party is needed to fulfill your needs and wants, even in the bedroom.

It's in my heart to honour my partner in every way I can; And I feel he does the same for me.  It would be hurtful to both of us if we did not give our full attention to eachother in body, mind and spirit when making love.
