but they have mutual friends.

She thinks Im jealous of her and trys to break us up.

i don't know if I want to do this the rest of my life with him.

I told him it was a him and I relationship, not him her and I.

He seems pretty happy with us and I dont think hed cheat with her.

But I don't know. I will always keep my guard up.

How can I sit back down and enjoy love?

How do I ignore her?

Do I stay with him?

  1. just leave. live life without regrets.

  2. ha ha !!  You only have half of him ...  he he he !!

  3. nope you should leave, you are looking for reasons to leave so just do it. why try and use his ex as your crutch- you are tired of him, bored - whatever-- just get on with what you got to do.

  4. RESPECT!!!!  If you love and respect someone then you do not do something they ask you not to do.....Run!!!!!

  5. My advise is run away and never look back. You will find something better in every way. You should not have to deal with his ex no matter what. You shouldn't have to have your guard up all the time. Live life as though its your last day. If you are saying that you don't know if you can do this for the rest of your life clearly he is not the one for you. I am sure that something else that's 10 times better will walk into your heart and you will see what the h**l you where missing out on trust me. Love and trust is the 2 most important things if you don't have those then forget about happiness. Good luck

*Remember that breaking up is way better then a divorce later down the road emotionally and physically :)

  6. Having mutual friends is something that can't be helped. But I don't think that is the problem here. The problem is that he is still communicating with her and allowing her to interfere with your relationship. Mutual friends or not, that is not acceptable.

That said, I am not too sure what to tell you, because you don't really give us any specific examples of what is going on here. What IS his relationship with her? What does she do specifically to interfere with your relationship? Whatever it is, you need to tell your boyfriend to make it stop. If he can't or won't, then you may be right. It is not worth it.

    Good luck!

  7. / Always be honest and truthful with him.

I say that because whatever happens, it will not be because you weren't open and honest with him, and he could have changed it himself.  He will only have himself to blame.

If you give him ultimatums, then he will know that it was his fault for not sticking to them.

Now, if there are children (with his ex) involved, this is completely another story, because that fact makes ex's have to work at a civil relationship for their sake.

  8. Dump him until he can get his relationship with his ex straightened out.  Life is short, don't waste it on unncessary drama.

  9. Time to move on, no one is worth all that stress.

  10. You should distance yourself for a while.  Set him free - see if he comes back.

  11. Tell him that it's her or you. It's his call.

  12. Grow a personality, then maybe you'll find there's nothing to be insecure about!

  13. If they don’t share a child together there is NO reason why he feels obligated to maintain contact with her. I disagree with his “mutual friends” excuse. My ex and I dated off and on for 7 years. We have lots of the same friends and I keep my friendship with them now completely separate from my past relationship with him. His name never comes up, we never hang out together.

I think you should give your boyfriend one last ultimatum. Does he want you or her? It’s quite simple. But don’t just go by his response, also watch his actions. How serious is he? Like ready to change his number serious? Ready to be a jerk serious? I mean, this should be easy for him. Mutual friends is a bullshit excuse in my opinion…

I deal with my husband’s ex because they have a child together. But if they didn’t, I wouldn’t put up with it for a second. Put your foot down. If it doesn’t end, you know what you need to do.

  14. A relationship that makes you work hard and makes you question it is a hard relationship to be in.

It is a trust issue and if you don't have it -- it may be not worth the effort and the drama.  Think about the pros and cons.

    Good luck.

  15. If you have to keep your guard with someone that means that it's time to move on.  If you are have doubt about your relationship then it's time just leave and just be happy without the worry.  You need be happy as a person.

  16. Kick him to the curb...he sounds like a goon

  17. You've already answered your own question.

you're tired of the drama, your drained and not willing to deal with it anymore.

  18. You tired of your ex drama right ? so why don't you stay with him.. forget him .. find someone else

  19. I dont think anyone can tell you something that will give you what you want.  We just share from our own experiences.  If you think he is worth it stay and continue to be in a situation where you are always nervous about their interactions with one another.  Tell him exactly what you intend to do, see if that will change things.
