Before my son died I was worried all the time. I now have one living son and 3 girls. For some reason I worry about my son more than my girls. Why?

  1. I worry about my boys because of the way of the world right now and because they are boys.  When i had my first son I figured well at least I only have one so if they do activate the draft when he is 18 I won't really have to worry, then i had my second son and that idea went out the window basically.  Then we keep having bomb threats in the schools and robberies and shootings and all these kids being kidnapped and murdered.  It makes a lot for a parent to worry about.

  2. Girls are more likely to think logically than boys. Girls are also more likely to move out first, and become independant wher as the boy's  tend to stay home longer and do things with themselves.

My mom was the same way, she always worried more about my eldest brother but didn't have a reason to have as much concern for my sister and I. She had a reason though, because it seemed he was always more likey to end up in trouble or doing something stupid, his thinking process was not the same. He was always moving back home too, and my mother would wait up all hours of the night when he was home to make sure he was ok.

It's normal to worry like that. It's called being a mum :-)

  3. My condolences............

Of course You WORRY...........ME TOO !!!

All we can do is show them the "WAY", and be very patient NOT to show weakness (Mentally, Morally), and set an example of what is RIGHT !

I worry more about my Son too.....maybe because He is more "Stubborn" than my daughter. But only "He" can learn by experience, and Your example(s).

If You, or Your Wife do NOT know what is "RIGHT"....then FIND-OUT.

Just remember.........They look-up to You, and there is more than "One Way" to "LOSE" Your children.

"We give them wings, and all we can hope is that they can FLY"............

                        GOD BLESS

  4. I worry about my child all the time, i worry if im raising him the right way, showing him the right things and doing right. I worry about what they will turn out like, will they be happy? The list is endless.

I cant tell you why you worry about your son more then your girl, i only have one child.
