I am reaching the end of my bachelor's program in Political Science. I am pondering the possibility of going to Law School. When all is said and done, which branch of American Law has the best potential to make the most money?

  1. Corporate Law.

  2. I'm a 3rd year Canadian Law student so I might be a little skewed, but I'm sure it's the same as here - Corporate or Commercial. Crown Attorneys (District Attorneys in the US) are typically overworked and underfunded, defense attorneys make good money, but nothing compared to private firms.

But, always remember - when you article and/or work for a corporate firm, often it's much higher stress level for the first few years. So I hear. I guess I'll find out when I start at my firm in June 09. :)
