This is my roster now:

1B- Berkman

2B- BJ Upton

3B- A-Rod

SS- Crosby

LF- Ludwick

CF- McLouth

RF- Markakis

OF- Hamilton

2 Util-

Bench- (Votto, Quentin, Cantu, Barmes)

3 SP- Volquez, Lincecum, Hammels

3 RP- Joba, Soria, Morrow

2 P- Laffey, Masterson

Would it be worth anything to add either of these guys right now?

note: Devine and Barmes are on my DL, so I can keep them just for kicks to add to trades later

  1. Drop Cantu for Headley and Campillo for Lohse. Dont expect big impacts but they will probably give you better stats that the ones your dropping.

Cantu has done nothing since his 2 HR game and I expect that to continue.

  2. Both can be a bit of a gamble and are streaky. If you end up adding them, be very cautious.

  3. I would wait to see what Headley can do, he isn't the next Bruce he is going to be hitting in pet-co which is a long shot from the stadiums during spring training and the minors were he did well he has yet to prove him self at the ML level of the game. Cantu is not doing that bad this year he has been put in a great sitch there in Florida and is avail in two spots (1b, 3b) and it has not been that many bats away since his two run home run game the past week he went 9/29 5R 3HR 6RBI 310. BA that is more than some players that is better than most remember he did hit 28HR and 117RBI with 598AB for TB back in 2005 and the year after 2006 went 413AB with 14HR 62RBI this all when he was been used as a second baseman so you know he is able to use the bat. When it comes to pitching for years now every one gets pulled in to what I call the Lohse Hope stage you think wow he has found what the Twins saw in him back in his RC year only to come up short at the end but when he Finlay runs out of steam because I really don't think the Cards will keep wining with such a slap stick team here are a couple of guys to keep your eyes on.

    Great ERA'S and decent SO'S

    John Danks/CHW

    John Lannan/WAS

    Nick Blackburn/MIN

    Justin Duchscherer/AOK

    Gavin Floyd/CHW

    Jesse Litsch/TOR

Clayton Kershaw/LAD (he might start geting right)

Cheers, best wishes for the rest of the way
