Thinking of buying a sat nav and need to know if there is a subsciption charge every month or not ?????

There is know monthly charge. Somebody told me that  before I bought one to.

Go for the Garmin nuvi

tom tom there is no charge, there is no charge for garmin or navman, nav man is a c**p unit so steer clear of that one , street pilot on the pda or mobile phone you do get charged for whilst the phone is locked to the satellite
