  1. No, that is not a good price. He is one for $500 that is stainless steel with three magazines.

  2. TEC 9's are **** they jam up way to much STAY AWAY.

  3. The tec9 is considered by many to be the Bic disposable lighter of guns, you use up the magazine and throw it away. The guy who wants to sell you one for 700 bucks also wants to rip you off.

  4. A friend of mine had one.  It was a cheap piece of junk.  Jammed on a regular basis.  I would not waste $700 on one.  You can actually buy a quality firearm with that kind of money.

  5. That's to much money for that gun.  dont pay over 500 for it.  Info about a tec 9, it blow back operated, It was made to replace the swedish k.  But never made it in the military world.  It was made by intratec.  It shoots a 9X19mm Round.  honestly guy,  I wouldn't waste my money on that firearm.  There plenty of other firearms out there that are far better.  But its your decision.

    Hope this helped

  6. I've owned the tec 9 and mini tec and they are low end junk as far as I'm concerned. They jam and are chambered so sloppy that the chamber is often so oversized at times that they don't support the brass which causes the case to split causing more problems. You would be much better off with a Cobray Mac 11/9

  7. The Intratec TEC-DC9 (tec 9 ) is a piece of c**p.... Really.. There are so many better firearms you could buy with $700 than a Tec 9..... These are cheaply built guns with a gang banger reputation. They are also inaccurate.... Waste of money in my book as a firearm..... As a collectors item then it might be worth $700 if its part of a collection.... I remember they were banned at 1 time....

  8. SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Holy c**p

I passed on one for $300, which is about what the Blue Book price is

For seven hundred dollars you can by a good gun

Also notice that in the auction that Becky linked us to

No one is bidding on the gun

If you are going to use GB as a pricing guide you have to look further than the asking price

  9. Don't! Don't don't don't don't DON'T!!!!

I can reasonably say that it is one of the wort pistols ever made. They are heavy, awkward, expensive, inaccurate, prone to jamming, and not to mention illegal in a lot of places. The sights cover a tin can at 5 yards, the trigger is c**p, and you can't mount optics on it.

While it can be exciting to have 30-50 rounds of ammo at you disposal in one magazine, I would much rather have the sure thing accuracy and reliablility of the 10 rounds from a Springfield XD or an HK USP. If you are just going for cool, yeah, you may be able to impress your buddies, but anyone who knows anything about firearms will thing you are an idiot for buying one.

If you are thinking it will be easy to convert to automatic, your right, it will be. But have fun spending the next several years in prison.

Save your money and get a nice handgun. A Glock 17 is only about $500 and will be a much more effective sidearm.

Here's a review of the AB-10 I did on my website a while back; it's essentially the same thing as the T-9.
