Thinking of going body boarding in north wales this weekend any top tips?

We have a day to get some surf, can anyone give us top tips without travelling for miles,

Swim as fast ayou can or body board as fast as u can from pink toilet paper and jelly fish!!!!!

Get a wetsuit or risk freezing to death. Try to catch the wave just as it is breaking, leap on your board as the wave comes over you.

I don't know but I would recommend to wear a dry suit!

Abersoch on the Llyn peninsula, past Pwllelli. It's the closest thing you'll find to Newquay in North Wales, but a lot smaller and quiter! Barmouth in Cardigan bay is a pretty good beach resort but I couldn't say if the surf's that good.
