Thinking of moving to Florida or Texas!!!?

Question

My husband and I are thinking of moving...I am originally from California and he is originally from Louisiana. We now live in Arkansas and it's...well...we don't really like it at all. We have been married for a 1.5 years and are thinking of having kids in about 2 years. We are looking for a place where there is a lot to do, good job opportunity, decent cost of living, family friendly, etc...We are attracted to the Dallas, TX area or the Pensacola/Destin, FL area as they are both an equal distance from his family. Any suggestions and advice??? Thank you!

well i dont know about florida but i am 16 now and i lived in Dallas for 11 years and it was horrible. There were ALOT of gang activity and illegal things going on there. Luckily my mom moved me my brother and my sister from there.

its a good place i guess if you dont have kids but definitly not a kid friendly BIG city
