  1. So people know where you're talking about, the name of the place is Tipperary.

It depends on what you are qualified to do. At the moment there's a lull in construction, so it's better to look to other jobs.

  2. It's funny coz most Irish people, well anyone involved in the construction industry are going to start moving the other way soon, especially to Liverpool, just like back in the 80's.

Ireland is 'apparently' heading for a recession, which means it probably will because people are getting scared and spending less and prices are still going up, so everyone will be broke soon enough... unless you work in an industry that will always be popular and needed - like healthcare for example, I'd hold off a few years and see how it goes.  I live in London now and have been told not to come home because I wouldn't earn nearly as much as we earn over here... I know Mr Brown keeps saying we're hitting an economic lull but trust me Irelands is worse.... way worse

  3. Yes!

I live in Ireland and I really like it. Although beware. At the moment our ecomny is in an complete mess! Prices are very high.

    Good luck!

    Laura.
