  1. I live here and B,E, and F will pose no trouble for you at all as long as you have an open mind and can handle about 50% of the population who only speak Spanish. A, depends on whether you're up for change. Sobe is known for its wild scene, not bad, simply eclectic. It's full of artists, musicians, a lot of social culture-related individuals. The hurricanes come and go, sometimes they're bad and sometimes they're no big deal, like winters in Boston. South Beach is completely safe, most especially because it's the hotspot for so many tourists from around the world, it's always packed, but always safe.

  2. I have vacationed in S. Beach and it was a great party town, and it seemed pretty safe.  If you're used to big city living you might like it.

However, S. Beach not the best place for single women looking to meet single men due to the fact that there is a large g*y male population.  Jobs are available, but most are in the service industries such as hotels and restaurants.  I don't think the huricanes are a problem most of the time.  Florida as a whole usually only gets hit once or twice a year, and your chances that it will hit another city are pretty good.

    Good luck!
