Thinking of starting a bicycle hire business (AUSTRALIA)?

Question

I live on a beach side town in QLD with no bicycle hire business anywhere along our lovely beaches or foreshore / parks. I think it would be a real 'hit' giving the increasing numbers of tourists that come here on weekends and holidays.

I have never done anything like this before, so any ideas, suggestions AND ideas WHERE I START (etc..) would be appreciated..

What kind of insurance would I need??

There are a lot of things to consider when starting a business - but I think you have a really good idea there.  Why not talk to a lawyer - Research (on the net) starting a small business - Phone up insurance companies and find out what sort of insurance they offer for small businesses like that.  Sorry I can't be of more help but I think you definately have a good idea there.  (Just make sure there is plenty of paths and easy roads for people to ride along obviously!  Good Luck)
