I don't know if it will be too hard for me. I tried swim team one year and high school and quit very soon because just going back and forth, back and forth was REALLY boring to me, and I was d**n slow! I want to try water polo though because it doesn't look like it's that boring, and I want to build upper body strength.

So, should I even try if I didn't like swim team? Or is it totally different?

I really don't want to make a fool of myself haha.

  1. water polo is one of the hardest sports to play, its 50% mental, about 10% actual swimming and 40% wrestling in the water, i made varsity my freshman year and it really helps build upper body strength

  2. Water polo is one of those sports you fall in love with. I absolutely HATE swim season but i do it because of water polo. It helps you to be faster in the games. But water polo is alot of work. Its alot of swimming back and fourth. But its nothing like swimming laps. Its so much fun, and i really hope you give it a try. I played varsity last year as a freshman and i fell in love.
