Thinning hair?????????

um i need to ask a question i was thinking of getting my hair thinned and what does it to does it.....thin your hair only or....thins it and cuts it i want to keep it long but i want it thin is that possible

Thinning can be done by several methods, but all require the cutting of hair.

The bulk of the hair is left the length desired and a portion is cut shorter to leave the ends appearing  "thinner"

Layering may also make hair appear thinner.

Your stylist will be able to choose which is best for the style you want to achieve.

it only thins your hair, but over thinning your hair (getting it thinned every time you go in to get it cut) can make it get frizzy...

I have mine done that way because my hair is to heavy and thick.  It can cut some of the length but usually just takes out the bulk.  Ask for your hair to be "texturized".
