Third Party Inspection query?

Could someone please tell me what qualifications i need to be able to carry out third party inspections on engineering equipment and materials.

Well you need very high qualifications to put it bluntly. (see what i did there)

Basically you could be responsible for someones injury or death, depending on how you carry out machinery inspections.
