Third-molar/wisdoms teeth removal?

I'm thinking about removing my third-molars [or more known as wisdom teeth] because they erupt only halfway. there's no pain or anything, I just worry that problems will occur in the future.

advice, anyone?

  1. I just had mine out and it was completely painless. Even the healing process wasn't anything to fuss over!

Personally I'm glad I had mine extracted...they never gave me much trouble but now that they're gone I wonder how they ever fit in there in the first place!

Some friends of mine didn't have theirs removed and theirs have begun to decay and break apart, affecting the teeth around them (wisdom teeth can start to break apart and rot over time even if you take care of them)

    Good luck

  2. Do it! Mine are also only partially erupted and I now have a nasty infection in the gum around one. It's extremely painful. I'm having them all removed as soon as the infection clears up.
