I live in Rhode Island and i recently got my 3rd speeding ticket but for all 3 i was only written up for 10 mph hour over the speed limit. Will they still take my license away for 30 days? I didn't contest or appear for my first two tickets and just paid but should I go to court this time? would they not take my license away if i go? i don't care about money i can pay the ticket and any extra charges, i jsut don't want to loose my license. WHAT SHOULD I DO

  1. Call the Court # on the ticket> They will tell you your future> And driving privileges>

  2. in new jersey we can do a plea down where you dont get the points but they up the fine try that

  3. Well, besides slowing down, does Rhode Island allow you to take Defensive Driving?  If so, completing the course will remove the ticket from your record.  It may be a good solution for you.
