Third trimester s*x- why does it hurt?

Im 33, almost 34 weeks and lately when we have s*x, it hurts if it goes in too deep. It feels like its hitting something, my cervix perhaps? Ive heard of s*x becoming uncomfortable and awkward, but painful? My fiance says that he can feel his head hitting something too, (sorry if its TMI... )

Any ideas?

it might be the bottom of your uterus...but i don't think it should be painful...you should probably consult your midwife or Doctor
