  1. ok first off, dont invite a lot of people that you dont talk to. make it a boy girl party (unless ur parents arent into that sort of thing). rent a movie and make quick easy fun little bites. ordering pizza gets old. i recommend buying frozen super pretzels that heat up in 30 seconds. just assemble 4 in the plate and squirt a little mustard in the middle. also another good idea would be to have hummus and pita bread which is so easy. just remember to keep it easy and  just have a lot of music ready. play games like spin the bottle something thats simple and easy. paying for a DJ is just so stupid, you could make your own mixes on the computer and just burn a disc. scary movies are always the best because even if the party is ok the movie will always be remembered, good luck and my b-day is in september too so make it a great start to school!!

P.S. if you try and play games like musical chairs and pin the tail on the donkey kids will get bored. and u will need to yell a lot to get peoples attention

oh and remember to take a lot of pictures because then you wont ever forget it, that sounded a little cheezy but you know what i mean

  2. So I'm assuming you are a girl...

Some of the coolest parties that I went to in middle school were the joint parties. In 8th grade 3 girls had a joint party, got a DJ (it was at an actual entertainment venue), and all of us danced all night... It really was the best party of the year, everyone talked about it and wanted an invite. While it would cost money... splitting it 3 ways had to have helped! And everyone thought it was the coolest thing ever!

Also after, you could always have the never-failing sleepover, do makeovers, and eat junk food!

Whatever you do I'm sure it will be great!

  3. I know I have posted a lot of answers for party ideas on here. The best thing to do is search for questions. Type in "Thirteenth Birthday Party Ideas" and search it. Also try "13th Birthday Party Ideas" and just "Bithday Party Ideas."

Here is one of my previous answers:

Okay, I have always had the BEST parties, and they were always very simple!

    1) Food! Make sure you have lots of simple foods. Chips, snacks, fruit, pizza... keep it simple, but keep it coming!

    2) Basic Entertainment. My parties were always a hit with something as simple as a pool party. I know your weather is picky, but we always kept swimming as long as there was no lightning. One year I had a huuuuge slip n slide and it was a hit! We were all 16-18, and loved it! Get a large tarp, and weight it down. Cover it with water and dish soap, and you're good to go! Just hose off before going in the pool. It was tons of fun!

    3) Back up. If you get rained inside, have back up plans. Some good games to play that start up conversations are: Apples to Apples, Boulder Dash, and Man Laws Woman Rules. Loads of fun and laughs! Everyone opens up! Get lots of movies, candy, music... just keep it coming. Have everyone bring their favorite games, movies, and CDs.

    4) Don't be afraid to act young! Play musical chairs, do Kareoke, play pin the tail on the donkey, do duck duck goose! Just go crazy!

The key to a good party is to just relax and let the fun times roll! Don't be afraid to let friends invite friends. All my parties had about 20-30 people in and out, and they were never expensive, and always a blast! Most we spent was on food. We got generic brands of snacks, and just did the cheapest we could find.
