Thirteenth birthday party questions?

My daughter turns 13 tomorrow. I know, abandon all hope right? Anyway..

Her party is not untill the weekend, however I thought it would be fun if she and I did the girly stuff on her birthday in prep for her big day.. Mani pedi, lunch etc..etc..

Concerning her party though, Should I include her in helping me to plan for the day? It's not a suprise party, she knows the when's and where's, but to be sure it is "ultra coolness" should she be included in the planning of her own 13th birthday party?

Yes,I think so...Although another thought might be to rather include her best friend instead, who would certainly be aware of your daughter's likes and dislikes...It would be more of a surprise that way and the planning would be done for her....

yes wake up early  cook her favoirte breakfast

take her to get a new outfit for the party, something a little more expensive then you would normally spend

like abercrombie

then mani pedi

and her favorite lunch place or fastfood

its possible to do all this at the mall

deffinatly let her help with the party you cant make it as cool as she wants

I know i was really mad when I had my sweet 16 and my mom would let me help plan

after all its her party and you dont know what she wants as well as she does
