  1. Yes it will run those games. However you may have to turn down the details a bit.

Unless you are bying a dedicated gaming laptop like an Alienware Area 51m or a Voodoo envy, gaming is a secondary concern.

  2. It will definitely run CS:Source, and it is way above the minimum specs for CoD 4:  a p4 2.4ghz and an ati 9800pro

  3. It's a REALLY good computer. thats a good video card so that should work for gaming... good RAM, which also helps.  and 250GB HD is penty of space and it's a good speed.

If i were you i'd get it.

BUT if that is what Dell is saying is the price it will probably go up... cause that price is probably not including alot of things that you want and might need for it to run.  so the price at the end might come out to be over $1000...  but dont quote that, i might be wrong on the pricing.

  4. Yeah, I'd wager, but to be sure you should do some benchmarks like 3D Mark, or play a game on it and use FRAPS to see the framrate. Normally 30 frames per second is good right? So anything above that is awesome.

I believe it will play Counter Strike and Call of Duty 4. Bu maybe you should search around some more just to see if there are any better Laptops. I reccomend Newegg.com

Or Alienware.com but there Laptops and stuff may be a little expensive depending on whats in it.

  5. bugdom

  6. Yes, this laptop should be able to play a lot of the newer games.

With each game you would have to check the requirements and make sure that your computer meets them, but this laptop should work fine for that for you.
