you know that thing when you hold your breath you can't , right , but thats only cuz your not getting oxygen so i'm wondering if you hold your breath but drink water at the same time , will you feel if you were holding you breath or not?

  1. The "I need to breathe" sensation is caused (IIRC) by the buildup of carbon dioxide in the lungs, more than it is by any lack of oxygen.  So it'll happen regardless of why you're not breathing in, including when you're taking an exceptionally long drink of something.


  2. i dont think so because the oxygen in the water is attached to hydrogen, so it wont work as oxygen

    and also you need to breathe to get oxygen into the blood, digesting water cannot give oxygen to the blood
