I am looking at the Windsor Wellington 2.0.

It has Shimano Sora rear derailer

Shimano 2200 front derailer

Shimano sora shifters

Reg. $800 on sale for $380

Appears to be a good deal with decent components for that price. Let me know what you think.

  1. For the price is good. My friend bought a Motobecane Mirage (about the same thing as the Wellington) from this place last year. I put it together for him, seems like a nice bike and went together well.

If you can do minor assembly, tune the bike and do a little touch-up wheel truing (or know someone like me) and are certain of your size - go for it.

EDIT: You know I'd go for the Wellington 3.0 - it's only a few more bucks and you get 2 nice upgrades: carbon fork and threadless fork/stem. Definitley worth the few extra bucks.

  2. Looks ok to me. Like another answer, a couple of my friends bought from them and are very happy with their bikes. I looked at the wellington 3.0 that was suggested by someone - I think it's the best deal too for only $30 more you get a lot more, but only a couple sizes are left.

  3. Actually mate . . .  buy it!

This is a budget roadbike but I have seen worse equiped for far more money.

This bike is a good introduction for a beginner and 11-28 gears on a triple!!!!!! WOW!  If you cant work some life into this bike then give up and walk.

After riding this bike a year or so you will get an idea of what you really want,  if/when you upgrade.

Ditch the crummy tyres and 'pound to a penny' that seat will not be a good ride over 15 miles (then again???)  Apart from those two items you will have a decent bike.

To summerize: Buy it and then work on the engine!

    Best of luck.

  4. Appears to be a good starter road bike for you. It even looks pretty good. Go for it.
