This a good Road Bicycle?

This is a 2009 Mercier Orion Road bike. I recently ordered a Windsor Wellington 3.0 from bikesdirect.com, and after waiting for a few days, they were sold out of my size, so I am now looking at this.

It's OK, nothing special. They have taken some liberties in speccing some particularly cheap hubs, bottom bracket and other stuff to keep the price down.

Is the bike woth $600? Um, yes, it is. Was it ever worth $1100.00? No way.

Looks very decent. I would recommend it.

Yes the bike is worth the listed price. I would consider buying a new wheelset though. I can only imagine those wheels will be d**n heavy.
