This about SONY just a quick question(ps3)?

ok.. who thinks sony should stop giving things like ps3 home,and life with playstation.. ok home they should it lil after ps3 luanch and yet 2 years later we still dont have it...look at LWP they said it would come at end of july and it didnt then they said aug and then they said paper work.. man.. i dont hate sony but i thing they should stop delaying things so much

I think there is a point when it's too early to reveal information about an upcoming game, or system update in this case.

Of course, there is also a time when it's too late *I'm looking at you, Nintendo*

I'd say Sony needs to work on their announcement timing. It's great they want to get gamers pumped about games and things like Home or LWP, but they really need to make sure they can keep promised release dates as well.

I don't mind reasonable delays, like a few months to make a game (or system update) better, but when it turns into six months, nine months, a year, I think they are best off holding back a release date until they are sure they can guarantee something.

I think it would due them good to not announce them until they are fairly sure that they are done. I won't go into home but look at Life With Playstation. First it would come out by the end of July. Then the end of August. Now it's been delayed again, and they won't even tell us when, so that really says something.

at 1st i was wondering what r u talking about that these are the most anticipated updates that all ps3 owners would want right this moment. but i get what you mean and you're kind of right. but then again, sony can intrigue its consumers with other applications other than lwp or playstation home. i bet this is just the beginning for something even bigger for playstation 3.

Then PS3 would suck and there would be no buyers.

It's good that Sony takes their time to make good things, unlike the Microsoft with the Xbox 360. They launched it early, and now most of then are broken.

well if they just rush everything out then there's bound to be problems..

i would rather have them take their time with developing their software and games so that they are basically flawless, this way i know it won't brick my PS3 like firmware update did. If they rush Playstation Home out who knows what bad things could happen, so i'm glad they are playing it safe

Well, number one, PS3 Home is still in development right no.

Number two, Life with PlayStation is coming very soon.

Yes they've been delaying, but you end up getting the stuff right?

Would you rather they just gave up on the PS3?

Be serious for a minute.

I mean I've been pretty disappointed myself, but just saying don't make anything else?  That's just completely ridiculous.
