This can't be pregnancy... right??

Question

Ok, here it is in a nutshell. I will try to keep it short & sweet and hopefully not too confusing!

Basically, I had a period on July 6th, lasted about 5 or 6 days as usual. Anyway, then bf & i had s*x quite a few times during the time I "should" have been fertile. Then July 31st comes- and I started another period. After that period ended, during the month of August, there was never a time when we had s*x that it would've risked pregnancy.

So here's the thing.. I have been cramping for almost a week now, a constant cramping (but not as painful as menstrual cramps) and my next period should be due on Monday- give or take a day or two. I took a cheap dollar store preg. test just for the heck of it, but it came out negative.

I know what you are all thinking right now, before u even answer, lol. That I couldn't have gotten pregnant during the month of July because I ended up having another period July 31st. But maybe it wasn't a period?? Could it have been "vaginal bleeding" or something different?

Also, i probably took that test too early.. since my next period isn't due until monday or so. BUT, if i did get preg. in July... wouldn't it be far enough along now to detect it??

Ok, this probably does sound alot more confusing than it should. Sorry for the complex question.. i'm just wondering if it actually is possible or not..

if you got pregnant in july it should show up by now. if your period doesnt come this month then take another test.

So scrape up a few more pennies and buy a better test kit.

I went for 4 months with regular periods before I knew I was pregnant.  These things do happen.

Well the period you got during July 31st came and lasted when it usually does, right? And you had s*x in Aug, right? So just wait for your period to come this month and if it doesn't, take another test. If you got pregnant in July, it would have shown up by now. It's probably just a big coincidence. Or get a better testing kit, just to be sure. =]

Well if you did conceive in July, around the middle of the month give or take, and your period isn't due for another few days then I would wait til then to take another one. I def wouldn't stress it to much because you could actually trick your body into thinking that you are and it could give you all the symptoms or some of being pregnant. The last thing you want to do is worry about it around the clock. So just relax and the cramping could be signs your period is around the corner but your really never know because everyone is different and some cramp more around 8-10 weeks.

Maybe it was implantation bleeding!
