    The answer is mitochondria.

  3. To start with, the most active production of hydrogen peroxide is made by white blood cells (leukocytes) but this process is also characteristic for the mitochondrias. That means that the right answer here is "mitochondria".

    A cell organelle containing enzymes, such as catalase and oxidase, that catalyze the production and breakdown of hydrogen peroxide.

    "Smarter than you" - as I said in my answer peroxisomes both produce and breakdown H2O2. I know that H2O2 is broken down!!
