Apparently over the last few decades all that "bad" Carbon Dioxide has been very good for the Earth.

"They found that over a period of almost two decades, the Earth as a whole became more bountiful by a whopping 6.2%. About 25% of the Earth’s vegetated landmass — almost 110 million square kilometres — enjoyed significant increases and only 7% showed significant declines."

  1. So whats your question? If it's are you retarded, the answer is yes.

  2. What makes you think this is good news? If anything, this is confirmation of global warming and exactly what climate scientists (those "alarmists" warning us about global warming) expected.

The actual study says 42% of this if from the Amazon rain forest and their explanation is declining cloud cover (e.g. precipitation changes) in this area.  It also notes significant growth stimulation in the northern high-latitude ecosystems (something long expected by climate models as the northern region warms).

And if you look into the papers authors (actual climate scientists who acknowledge global warming), you'll see Charles D. Keeling on this list.  His work set the stage for today's profound concerns about climate change.

  3. That's the thing- the media paints CO2 like some sort of a harmful force when acutally it sustains life on earth.

  4. because the Greeny`s do not have a clue what the ruels are

  5. Absolutely, hundreds of experiments have shown that plants thrive in a higher Co2 environment.

  6. If it's true it's good news.  The best part is there is no bad news...global warming is a scam and isn't happening.  Only morons believe in it.

  7. That is one potential benefit of increased CO2, however this is far outweighed by the negative results. Warmer temperatures could spread tropical diseases, cause sea level rises, and possibly completly change earths climate

  8. Yup, short term good news, long term bad news.

  9. This is a typically silly "skeptical" argument.  All politics and no science.  Improvements in farming, fertilizers, etc. are what's responsible for this.  The increase would have been substantially higher if not for the damage donr to agriculture by global warming.
