  1. raise a conversation wit him compliment the movie

  2. One good thing about the movies is that you can't really talk during the movie.

Just relax and let the conversation come naturally.  Ask him questions about his family, his hobbies, talk about your goals in life.  Just consider him as a friend like your best friend.  Get to know him as a friend and you shouldn't have any awkward silences.

Enjoy the movies, and the company.

  3. Talk about how uncomfortable dates are.

  4. If it's not a date, why do you feel awkward?

If you think there will be awkward silences, come prepared with a few questions or topics. Watch the news and discuss what you see. Don't get too much into politics or religion, though. Maybe stick with the current hurricane problems.

Do you go to the same school? Find things there to discuss.

Mostly, stay calm and be yourself. What does that mean? It means look at him as though he were your best friend who knows you well. That way, you won't worry about how to impress him or what he's thinking, etc.

Afterwards, you have the movie to talk about.

  5. Ask if you can put your hand on his knee during the movie.  I'd prob either tell the chic no movie, or if I liked her I'd say sure.  And ask it in an e-mail.

Look it doesn't have to be perversion, it can be holding hands and innocent.  Don't thumbs me down.  I admire innocence, and am not that sleazy. lol
