Question

we started a topic about the kids in the middle school being picked on because of being g*y.

and the guy said "Why do we let pedophiles out of prison? It is their sexual preference"

and b4 i posted a question on here asking what he meant and everyone saidhe was comparing them to homsexuals to pedophiles.

so i responded but he said:

"I only pointed out that pedophilia is a sexual preference and as such, can't be cured. Yet, we allow pedophiles to leave prison. Why?"

is he still picking on homsexuals?

No, he isn't paying on homosexuals. But I am sure he feels that way taken from that.

For future reference against him pedophilia ISN'T a sexual preference, it is actually a mental disease. Something that someone need serious help and counselling for.

It is known that many people seek counsellors and shrinks for help to deal with their pedphilia without having EVER touched a child. Those people recognize they have a mental disorder and need help. WHen an adult with pedophilia acts on it, then he needs rehabilation and punishment.

Please, help this person see the difference.

He is doing more than just picking on them.  The topic of discussion was g*y students being picked on not pedophiles.  His mentioning of pedophiles is way for him to suggest a link between the two when no link exists.

Yea he is still picking on them. It's another stupid stereotype that homosexuals are all pedophiles.

No, he's saying that pedophiles are wired a certain way, and that prison sentences won't change them for the better.

He's not bashing g**s.
