You have to check it at your telephone network interface box. If the same trouble happens outside, it means the trouble is in the phone line, which most carriers will fix free of charge. If it works perfectly fine at that phone box...that means the trouble is on the inside, and if you dont have an inside wire contract, you will most likely be billed for the visit. Verizon will charge you 91$ the 1st 30 mintes and 46$ for each additional 30 minutes...plus the cost of material.
