Question:

This here is my diet anyones opinion would be great..?

I have a bowel of muesli, then i snack on a had ful of cereal. lunch consists of two pieces of linseed bread and a smear of cottage cheese. snack is uaully an apple in the after noon diner if i am working is salad (lettuce, tomato) or a small piece of steak or chcikem with a hand ful of veg, then mayb a cold drink like milo ( like low fathot chco) in the eveing. I'm 5 ft 9 n about 140-150 pounds. would i lose weight on this diet? i train everyday..

  1. Frankly I think you would do better to eat a more (you could do with more protein in there, the fibre level is good!).  What you list is too little, especially since you are training too.  Also, unless you live in a very cool climate you'll be dehydrated.

    Don't worry so much about losing weight as toning up your body, and maybe dropping your body fat levels (ok not to extreme - don't need to look like some male body builder - keep it feminine).


  2. Your weight is normal but you are getting huge amount of carbs and you're not eating enough fiber. You need 25 mg a day. Eat All-bran instead of Muesli, and get more protein in the middle of the day instead of saving it all for dinner. Up your fruit and veggies to 5 handfuls a day. That might sound like a lot of food, but you won't gain, and your inner organs, bones  and muscles  will thank you.
