The latin lyrics of "Venus" are taken from the third section, Cour d'amours, of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. The Cour d'amours (Court of Loves) is a series of poems about love (and lust). Most people know "Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi", but the last sections of Carmina are really beautiful, too.
