I wanted to know but I would like to know how much it would cost?Do yall think i should get a hamster insstead or a rat or a gerbil.My budget was $16.00 but i spent $3.01 on a box of fruit rollups but now i have $12.00 but i am working for money at my house so what should i get or do?

that won't get you enough to buy a cage, and the hamster, and all the little things and food a hamster needs, save money.

rat they can relate to humans much better then hamsters and gerbils. My hamster sleeps all day to avoid me and doesnt come out even for food. she comes out to play at night when she knows i am asleep. i regret not  getting a rat. wait until u have more $.

$16 won't get you everything you need AND a hamster. Just forget it and save your money for later.

Hamsters need things every month so you'll have to make sure you have the money for it.

What would you do if it ever got sick?

Just because they're pocket pets doesn't mean you can just let them die.

Do you have money for a cage, water bottle, food dish, bedding aso?
