If pluto's a dog, then what's goofy?

If he's a dog why doesn't he walk on all fours and live in a kennel?

Thats what i always wonder,

I mean if pluto and goofy are both dogs,then why does goofy talk,and walk on twos like humans,and yet pluto walks on all fours and doesnt talk.

theres a clear distinction in disney movies between animals that can talk and animals that can't. animals that can't get treated like, well, animals. goofy is a dog, but he can talk.

Goofy thinks he is a human dog just like Mickey Mouse thinks he is human mouse. Pluto obviously is the only one normal. :D
