To make a long story short my mother shows my older daughter more attention she goes out of her way for her birthday, she buys her outfits not that i expect it. the older daughter is 9 the younger one is 4. She had promised my four year old to make her a princess cake but then decided not to because she had already taken her to build a bear and chuck e cheese.... her reply was memaw got you a cupcake you dont need a princess cake now. Anyway my nine year old stated the four year old daddy ( my husband) thought she treated them differently.

And her reply was i will do whatever i want to if i want to give her nothing i wont. And then she laughed and said we dont have to worry about your daddy because he is going to jail. She told the four year old your daddy is going to jail and laughed.

My husband got behind on his child support last year for a 17 year old because he lost his job now he is being taken to court. And the judge is really strict. Let me state we do not expect nothing

  1. Grandma is a sick old bat.  I say cut off all contact with her.  It may sound mean, but it's the only way to protect your daughters.  She sounds absolutely malicious.

  2. I'm not sure of your question or if you are venting.  Just because you put a question mark at the end doesn't make it a question.

  3. Your mom obviously doesnt like the dad of the four year old.  Instead of cutting off the relationship you should work to improve it.   children need loving relationship  in their lives.  Tell the your mom how much the four year old reminds you of her (even if its not true).   Tell her how much the four year old loves her grandma (etc.)    People like people who like them (a little twisted psychology).    You need to work to get the outcome that you want which is to get her to treat the four year old better.   You should also tell her not to talk bad about the kids dad in front of her because it makes her sad.    Good luck.
