This is a dumb question but what does "save the trees" mean?

You always see commercials with sad people or animals on them and it ends with "save the trees". What does that mean?

basiically to sum up what anne said in a few lines cuz she wrote a d**n essay, it means use less paper, recyclle more so we dont use so many trees and animals dont lose their homes. Trees also hold the soil in place with their roots. There same thing an said but with out the essay wtf

It means this:

Humans are cutting down trees. They are cutting down precious rain forests, for dumb, unnecessary things like golf clubs and rich people's housing projects.

For the animals, which according to me, matters the most, they are losing their homes.

This is what happens when a family moves into a home that's near the forest. The kids are playing outside, and a bear comes along and attacks the kids. Who gets blamed and killed? The bear does. This isn't fair to the animals, or the precious trees that we need to help us breathe.

As for the humans, there's a lot of us trying to stop them from cutting down trees and destroying rain forests. We don't need golf clubs, we don't need cemeteries, we don't need more shopping malls, or McDonalds.

So the "save the trees" commercial is simply trying to get other people involved in stopping these idiots destroying our Earth and animals.

Illinois must be the only place on planet earth that as more forest now than it did 2-3 hundred years ago. Our own Dept. of Natural resources will tell you that as well many others  that study Forestry.

have you not have seen the condition the planet is going through, the trees are running out and no one is replacing them, do you understand now!!!!!
