Ok well i keep hearing that the world is going to end in 2012 or just soon & were gonna get these things in are forheads or right or left arm & with that mark u cant go to heaven :(

i hear the world will end of global warning & all this krap!Its scaring me i do beleive in God with all my heart but i dont want any of the stuff at the end of the bible to happen yet im only 13 :/

I want a life,is there anything u could say to make me feel a little bit better about all of this?

Just have enough faith to realize that it's all in your head. It's the devil trying to scare you into living a fearful life. If you just have faith you'll be guaranteed a spot in heaven for eternity.

It's all bs.

This myth came from the mayan calendar.

They were one of the 1st civilizations to make calendars, and their calendar stopped on december 12th, 2012.

And they were accurate. They were seconds off from an eclipse 1000 years in the future.

Ok, but w/e.

I think they just got bored after creating the calendar in advance ofr... idk..... 2000 years ahead?

Don't worry, the world's not gonna end in 2012. The earth has a longgg time to go. And global warming is a load of garbage. The earth has gone through many temperature changes. Even some scientists have assumed global warming's a bunch of nonsense.

I know that you are embarrassed and scared, but please try not to be. Your faith in God appears to be very strong, so please dont worry. I believe that God would never allow innocent and good people to suffer by not letting them into heaven. God opens his arms to everyone and when it is our time to go, so be it. We can't control it. The world was also going to end at 2000 but it didn't. Then 2003 and it didn't. Hmmm, 2012?? Maybe, maybe not. Even if it does what can you do about it anyway? If it ends it ends. Anyway stop worrying about this nonsense and just live your life and be the happiest you can be.

The Mayans believe the world will end in 2012, they also believed cutting the hearts out of living victims was right. lol

But, there have been loads of predictions the world would end in the past. No human can predict when this will happen.

Just follow gods word, and even if this ever does happen, you can be in heaven, which is much better than earth.

I too went through the same fear as you, but it doesnt bother me anymore, just stay faithful to god and everything will be okay.

Learn history. Throughout history there have been countless cases in which so called preachers, prophets, religious leaders, astrologists, and "spiritual" teachers claimed the end of the world was coming and named the exact date when it would happen. The fact that you are reading this answer now is the proof that they were all DEAD WRONG. So after so many false doomsday predictions, there is no reason to believe that the current one you've heard (2012) is different. It's just as false as all the c**p that has been before it and will be after it. So enjoy your life and don't waste your time and energy on these false prophets who are in the business of making people like you scared. Seize the day, enjoy your youth and don't worry about it!

the Mayans said the world would end in 2012. they also said a giant bird would fly into a building. a giant bird being a plane and a building being the world trade center. i've never heard about the heaven thing. but God knows all and wouldnt not deny you into heaven for an undeserved mark on your arm. and global warming is in a far to early stage to ruin the world. and we can keep it that way by always remembering to reduce, reuse and recycle

Absolutely no one knows when the world is going to end. God said he will come like a thief in the night. NO ONE knows. People have been predicting the end of the world for thousands of years. If you are really worried just make sure you are saved, if you are a christian and believe in that. The one you are talking about goes like this. The world will go through 7 good years. Then the people saved will leave the earth. After that, the peopl left will be the ones going to h**l. The bible says people left will have a chance to be saved. Those people will have numbers and will not be accepted by the rest. At the end of the bad seven years people with the numbers will go to heavan and those without will go to h**l. You may want to research that further, because I haven't studied that in a few years. Anyway, does it look like we are going through good years? NOt really. But, don't worry it's not going to end in 2012.

i'm scared too, actually. when i first heard the things about the last book in the bible i totally freaked! but the world will not end in 2012! In bible it's said that only God knows when the world will end. So, it's not gonna happen in 1012. Plus, there are these sign that will happen first to warn about the apocalypse. Not all have them have come true yet. so sorry, but the world will end one day, just like it is described in the bible.

Nostradamus predicted the world would end in 2000, that didn't happen.

my math teacher sayd it will end when im thirty in 18 yrs, from the super volcano in yuellowstone, or an asteroid heading straight for earth.

The world is supposed to end in 2012 (as some people say,) because the Mayan Calender ends. The problem with this theory is that the calender doesn't end, it just goes onto a new cycle. They obviously couldn't continue the calender forever. The other part I've never heard of, so I wouldn't worry if I were you. Also, global warming is seen as a normal cycle in the world to some scientists, which would explain the Ice Age, although it's true we are making things worse. I wouldn't worry!

It's a theory really, although there is substantiate evidence, even scientists and astronomers are now starting to agree that the world will end on December 21st, 2012.

The I Ching an ancient Chinese fortune book predicts the end of the world on December 21st, 2012. The Oracle of Delphi predicted the end of the world in 2012 (although did not give a specific date). The Mayan Calender, the most accurate calender to ever exsist ends on December 21st, 2012.

And the most frightening thing, On December 21st, 2012 astronomers have discovered that the Earth, the moon, the milky way, and the sun will be in perfect alignment. The Mayan calender predicts that the end will come from a milky cloud (i.e. the Milky Way) which astronomers discovered that the Milky Way contains a Black Hole. The last time that the Earth, the moon, the milky way and the sun were in perfect alignment was thousands of years ago and at the time when they were in perfect alignment the North and South pole changed positions and the climate instantly changed causing mass extinction. This is the scientists theory of what will happen in 2012, they predict it would happen in early morning, which the Mayan calender also says " The World Will End When The Sun Rises". I highly doubt any marks will appear on anyones forehead or arms. And as far as the world ending goes, we've had so many different times when we thought the world was ending...like Y2K (in 2000 when all the nukes were gonna suddenly launch and kill us all). The bombing of Hiroshima, the nuke was detonated for the first time and people thought that it would burn away our atmosphere and we would be burned alive by the sun. 06/06/06 was also supposed to be doomsday, but we're still here...

The truth shall set you free of all your religious guilt and worries. Become atheist or agnostic so you might have a shot at a happy life. On the other hand you are only 13 so you might need religion for a couple more years until your mind is mature enough to question all of the brainwashing. It's up to you but I highly doubt the world is going to end on December 21, 2012. but if id does what does it matter? There is nothing we can do about it anyway.

When I was your age I felt so much stress from faith and fears. I'm not religious in any way anymore but when I was I found comfort in just breathing and not worrying so much about that bigger things. Your only 13, you shouldn't have those stresses put on your shoulders. Try not to focus so much on the things that scare you, such as the future, and focus on whats most important to you like your friends, your family your faith...whatever that may be. Most likely the world will go on after 2012. You'll be fine. If you live your life scared of the future you wont have a life. Live every moment for itself and then you'll enjoy every part of life.
