Question:

This is a question about Russia, China, Iran, WW3 and America's Economy...?

So this all came up when I was watching the olympics with my friends and they announced that Russia invaded Georgia, and we were worried about the possibility of WW3 which could become a nuclear war and possibly end the existence of humanity...

So the first part of the question is about Russia:

Is Russia really allied with Iran and China?

The second part of the question is about China and Iran:

If the US goes to Georgia to stop Russia, will China and Iran get involved?

If Russia, China, and Iran declare war against the US for helping Georgia, will the rest of the world ally with the US or leave us hanging?

The third part of the question is about WW3:

What kind of war will this be? Hopefully the US wins but doesn't have to drop too many nukes because that could end humanity...

Is it possible to end there ability to go to war by stopping China and Russia's economy? This would happen because both Presidential candidates will kick Russia out of the World Trade Organization meaning no country will do any business with them giving them no external income. Also, if the US goes to war with China we will no longer have factories of things made in China and would make them in the US. This would help our own economy greatly by significantly increasing the number of middle class people by creating jobs for the poor and lower class in the factories.

10 points to anyone who can comment on each part of the question...

  1. To answer this question, we should look at the economic link between all of these countries, including the U.S.

Iran has Russia as a leading import partner at 5.9%.

Iran also has China as a leading import partner at 16%.

Iran also exports 14% to China.

China exports mostly to the U.S. at 19.4%.

Russia's top partner is Germany no less.

The U.S. has a beef with Iran, and Russia could theoretically have a beef with the U.S. based on our missile shield project in Poland and Czech Republic as well as our meddling in Georgia and Turkey.  The E.U. and U.S. have tried to "westernize" both of these countries.  In case you haven't checked, there are major pipelines in this area.  Most oof the pipelines are owned by companies in the U.S., Britain, Japan, Italy, France...  You can guarantee if Russia tries to acquire these pipelines, these countries will be involved (on our side).

I could see Iran getting involved in this easily.  China has a lot more at stake economically.  We are a good market for them.  We buy their c**p.. .our companies locate there.  Like it or not, China owns our debt and could cripple us, but then who would buy their things?  There is no other market out there like the U.S.

I think France, Britain, and Italy would be on our side.. I think Germany would set it out.  They trade with both of those countries.  We have an obligation to protect Poland and the Czech Republic because it was in the deal for the missile defense system.  We would also have to include Israel on this.

The only reason any of these countries would ally with Russia is out of sheer convenience.  They all would have to have an equal hatred of the U.S. and unite with eachother for the sole purpose of defeating us.

I don't see China doing this unless their government ideology overtakes their economic interests.

  2. TThe reality is that Georgia and our current leadership has put us(U.S.ofA) in a difficult possition. There is an alliance between the three when it comes to the US.

Secondly, if Russia sees the US as helping Georgia militarily and it escalates the US will only be able to depend on the Brits and Israel. Germany wants no part of a conflict with Russia, neither does France, Spain, or any European country. Australia may assist but they are so isollated, them helping in Iraq and helping against a superpower are two different things.

Third, China owns the US's economy.... we are so deep in debt to China it's pathetic. The WTO can say what they want, Russia has resources that China needs(oil), and China can pump out they're merchandise to Russia, and the Middle East.

Russia is not Japan circa WWII, if a nuke is dropped on them or anywhere near them all h**l is gonna break loose.

  3. Russia now only cares..about russia!

Iran and China are another thing altogether...

russia is playing Iran againstmus for its own benefit but they also do not like the muslims either..

China also only cares only about...china!

ans next global war is WW4...WW3 was the Cold War (I am a vet, fought during it). It didn't look like a regular war because all global wars are different from the previous one....WW1 trench warfare between 2 alliances..WW2 tank, planes, vast armies of 2 alliances fighting each other in big battle fields...WW3 proxy wars between 2 alliances again, fighting indirectly this time in order to avoid a nuke war at the end... and now WW4 2 alliances the west democracies against world muslim facist faction fighting for control....

the sad story repeats itself again

  4. China and Russia and Iran are not friends, except to the extent they are mutually envious of the US and EU.

They will stab each other when the time is right.

The west, including (especially) the former Soviet Republics will be united  against Russia if confrontation develops

China is already emerging from the factory of the world status.

Even they are having their products made in places like vietnam.

Jobs will return to the USA when we stop demonizing and overtaxing the corporations and investors.

  5. Very good question.  Let me first start by saying that yes, Russia, China, and Iran are allies.

The most important thing you asked though is would China really get involved in a spat between Russia and Georgia?  Yes, but only of the US got involved militarily.  The US has many allies, but we are in no position to fight another war.

Thirdly, WW3 is very possible but very avoidable.  If this were to happen the world as we know it would come to an end.  Even if a couple of nukes were dropped by us or anyone else for that matter, the results would be drastic.  Your talking about a radiation cloud that can travel thousands of miles.  Besides that, if we set off nukes, you can trust and believe that the other side will too, and then we will all be gonners.

The answer to your question about the US shutting off China's economy is simple, but hard to accept.  The US is in so much debt to China and other foreign nations that doing such a thing would more or less cause a war.

Also, the US economy would not be what it is today if it were not for China.  If you like buying your jeans at Wal-mart for twenty bucks, or your shoes from payless for thirty, then this would not be a good idea.  Because China has such low wages (some make 2 dollars a day), we pay lower prices.  Ever notice that items made in America or European nations is so expensive?  That's because we have higher wages and costs.

  6. First: Russia, China and Iran have lots of trading interests (Oil, and Weapons) mainly. So if the U.S. attacks any one of them they all will suffer greatly. I think it's safe to say they are and would be allied.

Second: Russia did not just invade Georgia they came to the South Ossetian's aid after Georgia was committing genocide by invading South Ossetia. I dont think China and Iran would get involved unless they really needed to. The U.S demanding Russia to leave Georgia is not reason enough for them to get involved militarly. I do believe most of the world would leave the U.S hanging because they believe the U.S should try to stay out of International affairs.

Third: I think you have this one abit backwards. The U.S economy is on the brink of collapse, all it would take is for China to stop all dealing with America and that would do it. The U.S has borrowed so much money from China that China pretty much owns 49% of the U.S. Yes of coarse the U.S would win by nuclear warfare. The only way to grow a strong economy is to manufacture goods within your own country and trade with others. The U.S does not do this much anymore. All they have been doing is borrowing more money from the federal reserve which is owned by private bankers. So the U.S economy is based on debt. This is not good for Americans.

    Hope that helps.
