I tried to post this once, but they wouldn't allow it ( too suggestive or ?), now I will try it again.

This is a question about sports bras

Where do you get a good, supportive one and is there a brand you recommend?

I need something that BREATHES or wicks perspiration and comfortable enough to wear all day.

Thanks!

  1. The best riding bras are at Victoria's Secret.  I cannot remember what the bras is called, but it has as extra strap across the bust area.  I think it may have been a racer back bra as well.  They are a little pricey, but worth it is you need support and control.

    Hope this helps!

  2. Champion were the only ones I could find retail that were worth paying for  Used them for years. Also go on the endurance catalog websites web sites.  You may also want to go to a custom fit bra store and get professionally fitted. I did that and my regular bras now  provide enough support to ride in.

  3. I got one from the Woman Within catalog.

It is a sports bra made by Glamorise and it is the best one I have ever worn.

It wicks moisture away and can be worn all day. Not tugging or pulling or re adujsting. I love it.

They have them in all sizes.

They also have a front hook model as well.

They were available in purpple, white and tan I think.

    Great support and NO BOUNCE

  4. Honestly just go to a sporting store and try on some different ones.

  5. Don't know about USA but in the UK marks and spencers HIGH support bra's are great! =]

  6. I went to a department store, as they had a larger selection than even the sporting goods stores did (my size is sometimes hard to find).  Mine is made by Champion and has three closure hooks in the back, as well as snaps that snap over where it hooks.  The straps are adjustable like a regular bra, but also have velcro to hold the adjustment in place so that they really stay put.  OK, now I'm making it sound like a straightjacket, LOL.  It is surprisingly comfortable and breatheable and even works well when I wear it over a regular bra (as I sometimes do when I'm in a hurry and am changing in a stall!)  I think it was about $30 or $35.

    This is it:

If you're worried about movement during the sitting trot, I can highly recommend this bra, LOL.  It's my dressage "must".

  7. They make "riding bras," although I think they are more expensive just because they are "horse" products.  Ain't that they way it always is?  They seem very similar to that one Lusitano listed.

Great question, I've been wondering the same thing because my regular sports bras just don't cut it.
